Product overview
Guntur chillies, chosen for heat and colour
Guntur in Andhra Pradesh is India's best-known chilli region. Its long, deep-red chillies (Capsicum annuum) are sun-dried on the farm and sold by variety, because each one gives a different balance of heat and colour.
Dubai buyers use chilli in very different ways: restaurants want bright colour, spice traders want reliable heat, and food manufacturers want both, with clean test results. We supply Sannam S4 for all-round use, Teja for high heat and Byadgi for colour, sorted and tested for the UAE market.
- Sannam S4, Teja (S17) and Byadgi varieties
- Stem-on or stemless (stems cut)
- Sorted to remove discoloured and broken pods
- Lab-tested for aflatoxin and illegal dyes

Why Dubai buyers choose Guntur chilli
What the Dubai market asks of red chilli
Dubai trades chilli to the whole region, so buyers need the right variety and clean paperwork every time.
The right variety
Restaurants want colour, traders want heat. Buying by variety (S4, Teja or Byadgi) means you always know what you are selling.
Clean test results
Chilli is checked closely for aflatoxin and illegal dyes worldwide. Every lot is lab-tested before it leaves India.
Stemless when you need it
Stemless chilli saves processing time for grinders and food makers. Stem-on is cheaper for traders who sell it whole.
Fast, frequent shipments
Jebel Ali is a short sail from India's east coast, so you can buy close to the new crop and keep stock fresh.

FAQ
Dried Red Chilli for Dubai: common questions
Which chilli variety should I buy: Sannam S4, Teja or Byadgi?
Choose Sannam S4 for a good balance of heat and colour, Teja when you need strong heat, and Byadgi when deep red colour matters more than heat, for example in restaurant dishes and colour-rich chilli powder.
What is the difference between stem-on and stemless chilli?
Stem-on chillies are sold as harvested and cost less. Stemless chillies have the stems cut off, which saves work for grinders and food manufacturers and gives a cleaner product.
Is your chilli tested for aflatoxin and Sudan dyes?
Yes. Every lot is tested before shipment and the lab report travels with the documents, so your importer has it ready for food safety checks.
How long does shipping from India to Dubai take?
Sea freight from Chennai or Krishnapatnam to Jebel Ali typically takes 8–12 days, plus time for documents and customs clearance.
What is the minimum order for dried red chilli?
Our minimum order is 1 MT. Most traders and re-exporters order full containers for the best freight cost per kilo.
